I was looking for a special gift for my friends two eldest children who had just become a big brother and big sister. There was one design for older siblings, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I wanted a shirt with a scripture verse on that would relate to this occasion.

I thought about making the shirts myself as I couldn't find anything I liked.

Then I looked into maybe marketing the idea and screen-printing shirts, but decide that would be too messy. When my husband suggested embroidery, I had no intentions of hand embroidering shirts, little did I know of the technology that is out there today.

We started in February of 2002 with a small home embroidery machine and before the machine arrived we had orders for my designs and some businesses that wanted their logos on shirts. We outgrew the small machine within 3 months. Since then the business of embroidered apparel has blossomed.

The company name is Loving Threads Embroidery, named because we want to share God's love through our embroidery. I know that The Lord had truly blessed us with this business and we want to share His word with everyone.
